In my previous post I shared an experience on perspective. Well, the next day I thought that I would look on google and see if I could find any MAGICAL cure for a damaged table. And guess what ...I did and it worked beautifully. Here is a picture of what part of my table looked like. It only shows the one spot, however there were two there. The instructions were to use a soft cloth or old t-shirt and iron it on low to medium heat until spot was gone. I did it on a little higher heat. Here is my sweet Chloe wanted to help out. When we finished she said, "who is the hero? We are!!" So cute.
So, here are a few more of Chloe helping and then the spots gone. MAGIC! :)

M.I.A. -- Has it really been a year since I've blogged?
Wow..it has actually been 15 months since my last post--crazy...I vow to do better. I thought my life was busy crazy when I had newborn twins and a toddler. It seems that teenagers make for really busy days. Especially when they enjoy extracurricular activities. We go back and forth from basketball, tennis, Lacrosse, football, softball, volleyball, tennis and dance. (depending on the season). But, we LOVE it and we LOVE that our children LOVE it. Mom and dad even squeeze in some volleyball, basketball and raquetball when they can. :) (I actually only do the volleyball).
Motherhood gives me a lot of JOY. Okay..it also brings me a lot of moments where I feel overwhelmed and wondering why I don't have a CLONE. But, there is always "opposition in all things" right. So, when days are really hard..it is the days that I hear my children laughing and getting along that I sigh and think, "This is what it is all about. This is why we did this. "
I turned 42 this year and the older I get the more I realize how much I don't know and my perspective in life is changing. Things that used to bother me and I would have a good cry about or berate myself about for hours--tend to just roll of my shoulders. Example: Water spilled on our kitchen table during dinner and it got wiped up, however, there were hotpads on the table underneath the food and the dishes did not get done that night. I was too tired and I think it was my Little girls turn...hence Mommy's turn. Anyway, I wake up and start to conquer the kitchen. As I take the dishes off...I take off the wet hot pads and on our BLACK table there are 2 white spots. VERY WHITE. Usually, I would fret and get upset--but, what can I do. Wait and hopefully with time it will fade. Is it really going to effect me in the eternal scheme of life...NOPE. But, my attitude will.
It doesn't always work. There are still many times that I need to take a time out. Today in fact...but, I feel that as I increase in age that hopefully I am increasing in wisdom too.

So much to catch up ... Top Ten things of Summer
Top Ten TYCKSENINGS to happen this Summer:

1. We went as a FAMILY to see the Oquirrh Temple Open House....WONDERFUL!!!
2. T T attended 2 camps and pioneer trek, all in one month. And the next few months read over 15 books. And also starred in her first musical, "Enchanted."

3. Wheelz' team took championship during the Riverton baseball season. He continues to be SUPER FAST and it was so much fun watching him tear it up ...stealing base
s. Look at that concentration ... eye right on the ball. And he also has read quite a few books this summer. :)
4. Z bolt's softball team was state champions and Lauren won the "fastest base runner" in a competition in Park City in her age group. And her group of 5
girls won the "around the horn" competition also.
5. Dibber played softball and made the ALL STAR team and she turned 9 on May 31, 2009. She earned the nicknames...wheelz, crazy legs and turbo this summer because of her speed.

6. Bella learned to ride a scooter, still loves her pink blanket and LOVES everything about LIFE, especially food and drawing. She also went to the Zoo and finsihed Kindergarten.

7. Baby girl turned 2 on May 25, 2009. And some of mom's favorite words to hear are "LIP - LOPS" (flip flops) and "NEP" for yep. TOO CUTE!!! SHe also likes to wrestle with Wheelz and bite his toes. She also taught herself to ride a scooter.
8. Lu Lu played T-ball and now refers to her daddy as "COACH." And also learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. She graduated from pre-school too.

9. Daddy wins "COACH OF THE YEAR" ... balancing coaching T-ball, helping coach softball, being official sports photographer for all the kids' teams, being on
the Riverton Baseball Board...and now helping coach football. We love you COACH!! Plus he photographed 2 weddings, bridals and invitations. He is the MAN!! :)
10. Mom keeps moving getting everyone where they need to be ... between Wade and I ... I think we earned a GOLD MEDAL in CHAUFFEURING. And she got to go to girls camp this year too. Oh, and Uncle Mikey and Katie got married and mom had fun making a scrapbook for them.

Smith's in Herriman has 10 x 15 " glass pans on sale for $5.79. I was excited to find it and then I came home and Wheelz and Dibber helped me do my first "glass etching." It was very easy and it turned out great. You can find more info and instructions on my other blog Natalie's Creations. You can find the pans at the back of the store by the ice cream. ENJOY!!

Love this new product

This product works and is so simple to use. I decided to try it and it works just like they say. I even had scotch tape remnants on my front window and it scrubbed those off.
It has 4 simple steps.
- Spray your window with a hose
- Wet the pad, to activate cleaners
- Scrub the windows
- Rinse and let dry

Thought for the day
I was reading a talk by our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson from his talk last Conference,
Finding Joy in the Journey. I love Valentine's Day and the reminder that we should freely show our love to those around us. President Monson asked that we say "I love you" more; always express our thanks. And then he said,
"Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved." It made me take a pause today to remember that people, especially my family, are so much more important than things. So, today I resolve to give a little more love to those around me, to give extra hugs, to "enjoy" the laundry that is piling up, to learn from trials...knowing that there is opposition in all things...as bad as it may seem, it has to get that much better and to make every day and month a time to give more LOVE.
I am so grateful for my FAMILY and FRIENDS. Have a happy day and know that you are LOVED!!!

No Worries!!
I found a quote that I love by Og Mandino, it states:
I just smiled when I saw the previous post, I am excited to turn 40!! Call me strange, but the older I get, the more I like who I am striving to become. Maybe it's because I've realized how much I don't know and how teachable I want to become. So, no worries about Wade spilling the "news" too soon! I am looking forward to the next century...as a 40 year old woman. I am looking forward to the ups and downs. I am looking forward to seeing my children discover who they truly are. I am looking forward to more years with my sweetheart, Wade. I just hope I can always remember what I have learned, cherish days for what they are and enjoy the little moments in life.
I love you, Wade!! Thanks for a great vacation "early" birthday present!! And thanks for being mine.
"I am not a human being, I am a human becoming."

"Live in Thanksgiving Daily"
My heart has been so full for the many blessings that I get to enjoy in my life. I am so grateful to be a mother and a wife. I find great joy in that calling! I came across an article this morning that is very appropriate for this Holiday season. It is by Elder Wirthlin and you can find it here. What a beautiful reminder to keep our eyes, hearts and arms open in thanksgiving.
He states, " Think for a moment, if you will, of someone you know who is truly happy. We’ve all met those who seem to radiate happiness. They seem to smile more than others; they laugh more than others—just being around them makes us happier as well. " When we are grateful and have a thankful heart we are happier. We are meant to find joy in this life, that is why our Heavenly Father asks us to be grateful. I hope I can strive to "live in thanksgiving daily", so that I can "enrich my life and the lives of those that I love."

Mmmm...Gravy!!!

One Sunday I looked over and our baby girl was watching and patiently waiting for her turn to dip her meat in the gravy...and that was the beginning. Now on Sunday dinners, we put some gravy on her plate so that she can dip her meat and rolls. But, I don't blame her ... her daddy makes a delicious gravy. Yep, Daddy is the cook on Sundays. I love it, because he is such a good cook. We are all excited for the cooler weather because that means roast beef dinners.
Mmmmm..soo good!!

An alternative to You Tube
Lauren and I went to a softball tournament last weekend and while driving home from Mesquite I saw a billboard that said
It's a good day.org a G or PG You Tube.
We could always use better sites to visit. It has a kids corner, motivational stories, recipes, book reviews and more. Plus a place to add videos and photos. Anyway, check it out.

New Media Player - LDS.ORG
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints website has made it very easy to watch conference and other meetings. It has the April and October 2008 general conference meetings in full and also the general meetings for Relief Society and Young Women. It makes it really easy to watch the entire session or to listen to just one talk or song. It also has the World Leadership Training videos, Life of President Monson video, World Report for 2008, and about 10 other videos. The new media player is wonderful, so easy to install and watch!! One of my favorites is the April 2008 General Conference Highlights video. It is about 10 minutes long and highlights everything that was talked about in April Conference. What a wonderful reminder of what was talked about and what we need to learn. I am excited to see the highlights video for this conference. What a wonderful world we live in. This is a prime example of "GOOD THINGS" on the internet!
