Hair stylist in the family

We have a blond in the family, can you believe it...well not so much now. She has cut her hair 6 times in the last two months. The first was not to bad, but, now she looks like she has a mullet. Good thing Mommy is so creative at hiding it....:(.

And here she is in all her glory. She has cut even more now on the front and sides. And her second favorite thing is getting into mom's make- up.







After 1st Haircut...she gave herself bangs...remember this one was not so bad.

Bella loves to put on make-up...2-3 times per day. I finally had to figure out a way to lock up my make-up. This was one of her last attempts. She does a pretty good job. She just decided to use liquid liner for blush. Don't you love the blue :). You can often find make-up hiding under her pillow. She also made up Baby girl.

Lu Lu the Hairstylist???!!!

Lu Lu decided that on her birthday...she would like to give her sisters haircuts~ and these are the results. I have to say I handled it better than when Abby cut her hair..I cried for a day. I will miss her gorgeous curls...I am hoping they will grow back! Oh and Lu Lu did not cut any of her own hair!

This picture is so funny!! The older girls got these great soft socks from Santa and Chloe wore them all the time. She has one her sister's shirt, bella's princess shoes and zbolt's socks. TOO FUNNY!!
I had just woken up and I heard Wade laugh. Baby girl was sitting on the floor with a comb, the detangler and a headband already in her hair. She tries so hard to be BIG!!

This is what happens when a chocolate cake is left alone.... vroom...Baby girl attacks!! Doesn't she look like she is thinking..."I need to cram as much of this into my mouth ..as fast as I can, BEFORE I get caught."

Mmmm...Gravy!!!

One Sunday I looked over and our baby girl was watching and patiently waiting for her turn to dip her meat in the gravy...and that was the beginning. Now on Sunday dinners, we put some gravy on her plate so that she can dip her meat and rolls. But, I don't blame her ... her daddy makes a delicious gravy. Yep, Daddy is the cook on Sundays. I love it, because he is such a good cook. We are all excited for the cooler weather because that means roast beef dinners.
Mmmmm..soo good!!

Joys of Pumpkin Carving!

Our children love to carve pumpkins...but, no one has liked it as much as our baby girl. She wanted to get right into it. She was trying to help the others, so we got her her own.

If you look at these last pictures (you can click on them for a larger view)...she has pumpkin guts on her face, her hair, her ears, her arms and the shirt will never be the same. She really enjoyed it at first....then the dirtier and stickier she got, she didn't enjoy it as much. We really enjoyed watching her get into it!

Our little artist!

Our baby girl is our budding artist. She is 17 months old and loves to draw and color. In fact, we think she will be left handed. The other night Wade and I were on our computers and we look down and she is just drawing on herself. So cute. I especially like the circle around her eyes. Now that is TALENT!!



Note: You know she is the youngest of 7, when mom thinks it is "SO CUTE" when she draws all over herself. It is just hard to get mad at her when, I say "SWEETIE!!" And she smiles at me like that!!!

We have a rose bush outside that grows the most beautiful smelling roses. It reminds me of the "rose milk" lotion my mom always had. :) Anyway, here is our sweet Baby girl...taking time to smell the roses!

I need to remember his council each day, he said,
"May we adapt to the changes in our lives, that we may realize what is most important. That we may express our gratitude always and thus find joy in the journey."

I love it!! I need to put it up where I can be reminded to follow this instruction each day!!
I am grateful to my sweet children for always helping me find the joy in life's little moments!

Our little Singer!

The minute the choir starts singing in Conference...our sweet baby girl say "OH!" and runs over, grabs the wipes, puts it in front of the TV and stands up and SINGS with the Choir. It is hilarious! She will stand there the entire time and then when they finish, she gets down and goes to play. Here she is at the beginning (in her pj's) and then at the end..writing and singing!
